EYZCHS is an independent publication covering Indian real estate. Most property coverage in India is written downstream of a marketing budget. Launches are announced, not examined. Prices are quoted, not checked. The reader — the person actually buying — is the last consideration.
We report for four kinds of reader, and we don't pretend they want the same thing. The first-time buyer in a city she can barely afford. The upgrader trading a 2BHK for space. The investor abroad who owns a floor he has never stood on. And the industry itself, which reads us to see how it looks from outside.
Our method is dull on purpose. We read the filings. We check the registrations. We visit the site. We ask what a thing costs to own, not what it costs to buy. Where we are uncertain, we say so in the sentence.
We take advertising. We label it. We have never sold a story and we will not start.
